Liner Notes:
Episode 6:
Well, I was planning to take a break after the last episode, but I suppose I was itching to do one freed of the constraints of limiting myself to Ranma ½ soundtracks. (Not that I'll never use any Ranma again, mind you.) It is something of a double edged sword, however. On one hand, I have much more music to choose from! On the other hand, that means it may take me longer to go through it all, finding that just right piece to accompany a certain scene.
I suppose I blunted that sword a wee bit by deciding to score this episode mostly with music from Kashimashi. I was able to find pieces to cover most of the story from that one album, so I figured, "Why not?" There were a few exceptions, but for both of those I was able to find things from within the soundtrack to the movie Clue. Well, that and, for the end of track nine, the slight jingling of bells was taken from a random bell sound I found online and then played with (editing the length, speed, and pitch).
Guess I'll try to take a bit of a break from this project now. Maybe I'll, I dunno, try and get some work done on some actual stories? That's a strange notion, innit?
